Violence Against Women Self-Assessment Tool

This self-assessment tool provides an opportunity for organisations preventing violence against women (VAW) to reflect on their work compares to current evidence of the most effective and ethical practice. In an open, reflective, and supportive setting, this tool enables to reflect on institutional practices, identify programme strengths and opportunities for improvement, and recognise priorities for capacity building. Assessment items address seven different strategies of VAW programming: (1) Community Mobilisation; (2) Health and Social Support Services; (3) Legal Aid; (4) Advocacy; (5) Media & Communications; (6) Capacity Building; and (7) Partnerships.
