Toolkit for Optimising Cash-based Interventions for Protection from Gender-based Violence — Part 2
This toolkit by the Women’s Refugee Commission (WRC) put forth a set of tools to support programmes that focus on cash-based interventions and gender-based violence in crisis and conflict settings.
It provides tools for practitioners involved in cash-based interventions and gender-based violence to analyse the context and identify specific risks and needs, design cash-based interventions that are tailored to address gender-based violence, and implement monitoring and evaluation that is based on the identified risks.
Part 2 Contents
Part 2 of the toolkit provides guidance for field-level practitioners of gender-based violence who work with practitioners of cash-based interventions.
It consists of tools to assess and identify GBV survivors’ needs for cash assistance, provide referrals to cash providers, design GBV case management services with a cash component that minimise risks, and as well as monitoring and evaluation tools to ensure safety and maximum benefits for the survivors.
The complete toolkit consists of a protocol for GBV case workers, which can be found on the Women’s Rescue Committee website.
