Potential Pathways to Prevention: Understanding the Intersections of Violence Against Women and Children in the Family

This is a summary of findings from a study on the intersections of violence against women and violence against children, which was conducted in 2014 by Raising Voices and Columbia University. The research intended to understand the perceptions and experiences of intersecting forms of violence in Uganda. The study included both quantitative and qualitative components, and this study summary documents lessons from the qualitative component that aimed to answer how and why these intersections of IPV and VAC manifest within the family environment.
