Global Guidance on Addressing School-Related Gender-Based Violence
This guidance set forth by the UNESCO and UN Women provides key information on approaches, methodologies, tools, and resources to address school-related gender-based violence.
Targeting a wide range of stakeholders, including governments, policy-makers, teachers, practitioners and civil society, it promotes the generation of knowledge, evidence and standards of prevention and response to school-related gender-based violence.
Included in this guidance is knowledge-based operational instructions, diverse case studies drawn from examples of best practices, and recommended tools for response, prevention and monitoring and evaluation.
While the illustrated examples in the guidance are mostly based on low and middle-income country contexts, they can be adapted for application in different contexts.
